Getting There

Driving
If you are driving from the main tourist areas in Canyonlands, begin your journey by heading west on UT-313 toward Moab. Continue on UT-313 until you reach the junction with US-191. Turn north onto US-191 and drive for approximately 30 miles. Then take the exit for I-70 W toward Salt Lake City. After about 40 miles, take exit 335 for I-15 N toward Ogden. Continue on I-15 N for about 30 miles until you reach exit 332 for US-89 S toward Farmington. Follow US-89 S for about 10 miles; then turn onto Antelope Drive and follow it until you reach the entrance of Antelope Island State Park. Note: There is an entrance fee of $15 per vehicle. Make sure to have cash or a card ready.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or another intercity bus service from Moab to Salt Lake City. Once in Salt Lake City, use the UTA (Utah Transit Authority) bus service. Take the 455 Express bus from the Salt Lake Central Station to the Antelope Island State Park stop. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes, and fares typically cost around $2.50 each way. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may not be frequent.
