Car
If you're driving in Canyonlands National Park, start from the Island in the Sky Visitor Center. Head southeast on Utah State Route 313 for about 20 miles. Look for signs directing you to the Needles District. Continue on UT-211 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the Needles Visitor Center. From there, take the unpaved road to the Elephant Hill Trailhead. The last part of the journey to Chesler Park involves a 5-mile hike from the Elephant Hill Trailhead. Be prepared for rugged terrain and ensure you have enough water and supplies.
Public Transportation and Hiking
Currently, there are no direct public transportation services to Chesler Park. However, you can use public transportation (like a bus or shuttle) to reach Moab, Utah. From Moab, you can rent a car or book a tour that includes transportation to the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park. Once at the Needles Visitor Center, follow the same route to the Elephant Hill Trailhead, where you will then hike the 5 miles to Chesler Park.
