Getting There

• Car

  From Moab, head south on US-191 for approximately 16 miles. Look for the sign for 'Canyonlands National Park - Island in the Sky' and turn left onto UT-313. Follow UT-313 for about 20 miles until you reach the entrance to Canyonlands National Park. After paying the entrance fee (typically around $30 per vehicle), continue driving until you reach the Grand View Point Overlook. From here, you will need to drive back to the junction and take the dirt road marked for 'Colorado River' or 'Potash Road'. Follow this road for about 10 miles until you see the parking area for the Morning Glory Arch trailhead.

• Hiking

  After parking at the Morning Glory Arch trailhead, follow the well-marked trail that leads to the arch. The hike is approximately 2 miles one way and includes some stream crossings and light rock scrambling, so wear appropriate footwear and bring water. Keep an eye out for trail markers to ensure you're heading in the right direction.

• Public Transportation

  While there isn't direct public transportation to the trailhead, you can take a shuttle service from Moab to Canyonlands National Park. Companies like 'Moab Adventure Center' offer shuttle services that can take you to various locations in the park. Confirm with them in advance about routes and drop-off points, as they may not go directly to Morning Glory Arch. Once you are dropped off at the nearest point, you'll need to hike the remaining distance to the arch, approximately 2 miles, following the same trail guidelines mentioned above.
