Car
If you are driving from Moab, Utah, take US-191 North for about 10 miles. Turn left onto UT-313 West and continue for approximately 18 miles. This road will lead you to the Canyonlands Island in the Sky District. After entering the park, follow the main road until you reach the Grand View Point Overlook. From there, park your vehicle. You will need to hike approximately 1.5 miles down the Grand View Point Trail to access the area near Updraft Arch. Please note that the trail may be rocky and steep in some parts, so wear appropriate footwear.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is limited public transportation directly to Canyonlands National Park. You can take a shuttle service from Moab to the park, offered by local companies such as 'Moab Adventure Center' or 'Canyonlands Tours'. Once you arrive at the Island in the Sky District, you will need to arrange for a hike to Updraft Arch, as there are no direct shuttle services to specific hiking trails. Hiking
