From the Island in the Sky Visitor Center in Canyonlands National Park, head south on UT-313 for about 6 miles. Turn left onto the Anticline Overlook Road, which is marked with a sign. Continue on this road for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the parking area for Anticline Overlook. Please note that there is no entrance fee for this overlook, but there is a fee to enter the national park, which is $30 per vehicle valid for 7 days.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a bus or shuttle service from Moab to the Canyonlands National Park. Once you arrive at the Island in the Sky Visitor Center, follow the same car directions by walking along UT-313 south for about 6 miles. After that, take the Anticline Overlook Road, which is about 2.5 miles long. This hike is approximately 8.5 miles round trip from the visitor center; ensure you are prepared with enough water and supplies for the hike.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike in Moab and take it with you on the shuttle to the Island in the Sky Visitor Center. From the visitor center, follow UT-313 south for about 6 miles, then turn left onto Anticline Overlook Road. The road is dirt and can be rough, so make sure to have a mountain bike. The ride is about 2.5 miles from the turn-off to the overlook, and you will have to navigate back the same way.
