Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Moab, take US-191 South for about 30 miles until you reach the junction with UT-211. Turn right onto UT-211 and continue for approximately 22 miles. You will arrive at the Island in the Sky entrance to Canyonlands National Park. Pay the entrance fee of $30 per vehicle, which is valid for 7 days. After entering the park, follow the main road and look for signs directing you to the Confluence Overlook. The overlook will be on your left after about 15 miles on the park road. Park in the designated parking area and follow the short trail to the viewpoint.

If you do not have a car, you can take a shuttle service from Moab to Canyonlands National Park. Several companies offer this service, and prices vary; expect to pay around $60-$100 for a round trip. Upon arriving at the Island in the Sky visitor center, you can ask about shuttle services within the park. From the visitor center, take the park's shuttle to the Confluence Overlook, which may require a short hike depending on the shuttle schedule.
