Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Moab, Utah, head east on US-191 for about 4.5 miles. Turn left onto UT-313, which leads to Canyonlands National Park. Continue for about 20 miles, following the signs to the Island in the Sky District. Once you reach the entrance, there is a $30 vehicle fee for a 7-day pass. After entering the park, follow the main road for about 5 miles to the Grand View Point Overlook. From here, you will need to backtrack slightly. Turn onto the road towards the Mesa Arch trailhead. Park in the designated area.

Hiking
From the Mesa Arch trailhead parking area, follow the Mesa Arch trail for approximately 0.5 miles to reach the arch itself. After taking in the views, continue on the same trail. You will need to hike back towards the main road and continue towards the Turret Arch trailhead. The hike to Turret Arch is about 1.5 miles round trip and is marked well with signage.
