Car
If you are driving within Capitol Reef National Park, start by heading south on the Scenic Drive. Continue for approximately 5 miles until you see the Capitol Gorge Road turnoff on your right. Follow Capitol Gorge Road for about 2 miles until you reach the parking area for the Capitol Gorge Trailhead. Look for the trailhead sign near the parking lot.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is no direct public transportation service that reaches the Capitol Gorge Trailhead. If you are relying on public transport, you may first need to take a shuttle or bus to the nearest town, Torrey, UT, which is located just outside the park. From Torrey, you will likely need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you directly to the Capitol Gorge Trailhead, which is about a 10-minute drive from Torrey. Make sure to provide the driver with the address: Torrey, UT 84775 and specify that you want to visit the Capitol Gorge Trailhead.
