Car
Assuming you are starting from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center, head south on Highway 24. Continue driving for approximately 5 miles until you reach the junction with the road leading to Torrey. Turn left onto the road towards Torrey. Continue on this road for about 3 miles, then make a right onto Behunin Cabin Road, which is a dirt road. Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the Behunin Cabin parking area. Please note that a high-clearance vehicle may be required due to the dirt road conditions. If you do not have a high-clearance vehicle, consider parking at the base of the road and hiking the remaining distance to the cabin, which is about a 30-minute walk.

Public Transportation + Hiking
If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Torrey, UT, from nearby towns or cities. Once you arrive in Torrey, you can either rent a bicycle or use a rideshare service to get to the junction with Highway 24. Then, follow the same directions as above for driving. You may need to hike the remaining distance to Behunin Cabin since public transportation does not directly reach the cabin. The hike from the parking area is approximately 1 mile and will take about 30 minutes.
