Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the Capitol Reef National Park Visitor Center located at 1000 Highway 24, Torrey, UT 84775. Head east on Highway 24 for approximately 5 miles. As you approach the intersection with the Scenic Drive, turn left onto the Scenic Drive. Continue on the Scenic Drive for about 3 miles until you reach the parking area for the Pectols Pyramid trailhead. There is no entrance fee required for this specific trailhead, but ensure you have a valid park pass for general park access.
Hiking
Once you arrive at the Pectols Pyramid trailhead parking area, you will need to hike approximately 2 miles to reach Pectols Pyramid. The trail is moderately steep and will take you through beautiful desert landscapes. Make sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes and carry plenty of water. The trail is well-marked, and you will see signs directing you toward Pectols Pyramid. It is advisable to start early in the day to avoid the heat and allow ample time for your hike.
