From downtown Cedar City, head east on Center Street towards Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk north until you reach 200 North. Turn right on 200 North and continue walking until you reach 1000 East. Here, you will find the Southern Utah University campus on your left. Continue north on 1000 East until you reach 300 South. Turn left onto 300 South and follow the road as it curves into 400 East. Continue north until you reach 2000 South. At this point, you will see a trailhead sign for Thunderbird Garden Trailhead on your right.

Start at the Cedar City Main Street Park. Head north on Main Street until you reach 200 North. Turn right onto 200 North and continue until you reach 1000 East. Turn left onto 1000 East and ride north through the Southern Utah University campus. Continue on 1000 East until it intersects with 300 South. Turn left onto 300 South and follow the road as it curves into 400 East. Continue riding north until you reach 2000 South. The Thunderbird Garden Trailhead will be on your right side.

Begin your journey at the Cedar City Transit Center. Board Bus Route 2 heading to Southern Utah University. Get off at the stop closest to 200 East. Walk east to Main Street and turn left. Follow Main Street north until you reach 200 North. Turn right on 200 North, then continue straight to 1000 East. From there, head north and turn left onto 300 South. Continue until you arrive at 400 East and travel north until you reach 2000 South. The Thunderbird Garden Trailhead is located on your right.
