Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Cedar Valley, start on UT-68 N (also known as Redwood Road). Continue north for about 9 miles. Take the exit toward 2100 N/UT-73 W. Merge onto UT-73 W and continue for approximately 3.5 miles. Then, turn left onto Butterfield Canyon Road (this is a gravel road). Follow Butterfield Canyon Road for about 5 miles until you reach the canyon entrance. Be prepared for a winding road with some steep sections.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Cedar Valley to the nearest transit hub in Saratoga Springs or Lehi (you may need to check the local transit schedule for exact routes). From there, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to the Butterfield Canyon entrance. Once you arrive at Butterfield Canyon Road, be prepared to walk approximately 1 mile to fully enjoy the scenic views and trails within the canyon.
