Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from any location within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Use local roads to reach the nearest major highway, I-15. Get on I-15 South and continue for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 290 for 12300 South toward South Jordan. Merge onto 12300 S and continue for about 3 miles until you reach S Jordan Parkway. Turn right onto S Jordan Parkway, and you will find the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Headquarters at 857 S Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095 on your left.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, first check the local bus routes using the UTA (Utah Transit Authority) website or app. Depending on your starting point within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, you may need to take a bus to a nearby station that connects to the UTA's light rail or bus system. For instance, you could take a bus to the Salt Lake Central Station and from there transfer to the TRAX light rail system. Take the Red Line toward the South Jordan Town Center station. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk to 857 S Jordan Pkwy, South Jordan, UT 84095. Make sure to check for any fare costs associated with the bus or light rail services.
