Getting There

Car
From the Deer Valley Resort, head east on Deer Valley Drive, then turn left onto US-40. Continue on US-40 for approximately 6 miles until you reach the junction with UT-224. Take the exit toward Park City and merge onto UT-224. Follow UT-224 for about 6 miles until you reach the traffic circle. Take the second exit onto UT-210, which leads to Little Cottonwood Canyon. Continue on UT-210 for about 9 miles until you reach the Alta ski area. Park at the Alta Ski Area parking lot. From the parking lot, follow the signs for the Devil's Castle trailhead, which is located nearby.

Public Transportation
From Park City, take the Park City Transit bus to the Park City Transit Center. From there, transfer to the UTA ski bus (Route 972) heading towards Alta. The bus will take you directly to the Alta Ski Area, where you will get off at the Alta Ski Area parking lot. Upon arrival, look for signs directing you to the Devil's Castle trailhead which is a short walk from the parking lot. Please check the UTA website for the latest bus schedules and fares.
