Start from the Snowbird resort area. Head east on Little Cottonwood Canyon Road (UT-210) for about 3.5 miles. You will see signs for Cecret Lake and Alta Ski Area. Turn right onto the road leading to the Alta Ski Area. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach the Cecret Lake Trailhead parking area. Note that parking may be limited during peak seasons, and there may be a parking fee of around $5-$10.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the UTA ski bus from the Snowbird resort. Look for the UTA Ski Bus Route 962. Ride the bus towards Alta Ski Area.
