Car
If you're driving from the heart of Dixie National Forest, head towards Highway 14. Get on Highway 14 and drive south until you reach the junction with Highway 9. Turn left on Highway 9 and continue towards Hurricane. Once in Hurricane, look for the signs directing you to State Route 59. Take State Route 59 North towards Gunlock. Follow this road for about 15 miles until you reach Gunlock Rd. Turn right onto Gunlock Rd, and continue for about 2 miles until you arrive at Gunlock State Park.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options to Gunlock State Park are limited. If you're relying on public transit, your best option is to take a bus from St. George to Hurricane. Once you reach Hurricane, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service, as public transit does not directly serve Gunlock State Park. The taxi ride from Hurricane to Gunlock State Park is approximately 15 miles and could cost around $30-40.
Bicycle
