Car
If you are driving from central Dixie, head east on UT-9 E (also known as E 700 N) towards Hurricane. Continue to follow UT-9 E for about 30 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89 N. Turn left onto US-89 N and follow it for approximately 45 miles. Then, turn right onto UT-163 E and continue for about 20 miles until you reach the town of Bluff. Once in Bluff, turn left onto Black Locust Ave, and the Bluff Fort Historic Site will be on your right at 550 Black Locust Ave. There is ample parking available at the site, and there are no entrance fees.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from St. George to Bluff. The journey will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Bluff, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Bluff Fort Historic Site, as public transportation options within Bluff are limited.
