Walking
From the center of Escalante, head south on Highway 12. Walk along the shoulder, keeping an eye out for traffic. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach the entrance to the Hickman Natural Bridge Trailhead on your left. There is a sign marking the entrance. This area is well-marked and will lead you to the trail.

Biking
If you have a bicycle, you can ride along Highway 12 from Escalante. Start at the Escalante Visitor Center and ride south on Highway 12 for approximately 1.5 miles. Look for the Hickman Natural Bridge Trailhead entrance on your left. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of the traffic on the highway.

Hiking
For those who are more adventurous and want to hike from Escalante to Hickman Natural Bridge, you can start at the Escalante Visitor Center and follow the Escalante River trail. This is a longer trek (approximately 7 miles one way) and will take you through beautiful landscapes before joining the main trail to Hickman Natural Bridge. Ensure you have enough water, snacks, and a map before embarking on this option.
