Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Escalante Visitor Center located at 755 W Main St, Escalante, UT 84726. Exit the center and head west on Main St toward UT-12. After about 0.1 miles, turn right onto UT-12 N. Continue on UT-12 for approximately 18 miles until you reach the junction for Burr Trail Road. Take a left onto Burr Trail Road and continue for about 9 miles. Keep an eye out for Singing Canyon, which will be on your right. The entrance is marked, and you will see a sign indicating Singing Canyon.

  • Biking

    Rent a bike from a local shop in Escalante. Starting from the Escalante Visitor Center, head west on Main St toward UT-12. After 0.1 miles, turn right onto UT-12 N. Continue biking on UT-12 for about 18 miles. Look for the turn onto Burr Trail Road on your left. Once on Burr Trail Road, pedal for about 9 miles. Singing Canyon will be on your right; look for the sign marking the entrance.

    If you're an adventurous hiker, start at the Escalante Visitor Center. Follow the same route as you would for walking, heading west on Main St towards UT-12. Once you reach UT-12 N, you can either walk or hike along the roadside. It is approximately 18 miles to the Burr Trail Road turnoff.
