Starting from the Great Basin National Park Visitor Center, head south on NV-487 S for approximately 14 miles. Turn right onto US-6 W and drive for about 15 miles until you reach Garrison, UT. Once in Garrison, look for HC 78. Proceed on HC 78 for about 5 miles and watch for signs leading to Crystal Ball Cave. The cave is located at HC 78 Box 345, Garrison, UT 84728. Make sure to check the hours before visiting, as the site is open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily.

If you’re using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus to the nearest major city, which is Ely, NV. From Ely, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to travel to Garrison, UT. This will cover the approximately 34 miles to Garrison. Once in Garrison, you can follow the same directions as above to reach Crystal Ball Cave. Be mindful that public transportation options may be limited, and it's advisable to check schedules in advance.
