    From the center of Heber City, head north on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach 1200 N, then turn left. Follow 1200 N for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with US-189. Turn right onto US-189 and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. You will see signs for the Mount Timpanogos Trailhead on your left. This trailhead marks the beginning of the Mount Timpanogos Trail.

    If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Heber City and head north on Main Street. After about 0.5 miles, turn left onto 1200 N. Continue biking on 1200 N, which will become a bike-friendly path as you approach the outskirts of town. After about 1 mile, turn right onto US-189. Stay on the road for approximately 1.5 miles, and look for the Mount Timpanogos Trailhead signs on your left. This is your destination.

  • Public Transit

    To access public transit, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Street near the Heber City Library. Take the bus heading towards Provo and request to get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of US-189 and 1200 N. From there, you will need to walk south on US-189 for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Mount Timpanogos Trailhead on your right.
