Start at the Kanab Visitor Center located at 745 E State St, Kanab, UT 84741. From the Visitor Center, head east on State Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-89. Turn left onto US-89 and walk north for approximately 1 mile. You will see signs for the Kayenta Trail on your left. Continue walking until you reach the trailhead, which is easily identifiable.
Biking
If you have a bicycle, you can also bike from the Kanab Visitor Center. Head east on State Street for about 0.5 miles, then take a left onto US-89, biking north for approximately 1 mile. Be mindful of traffic on US-89. Look for the signs indicating the Kayenta Trail on your left. The trailhead will be just a short distance from the main road.

Currently, there are no direct public transport options that reach the Kayenta Trail from central Kanab. However, you can check with local hotels or the Kanab Visitor Center for any shuttle services that may be available. If shuttles are unavailable, consider walking or biking as described above.
