Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kanab, head north on US-89. Continue walking for about 12 miles, enjoying the scenery along the way. You'll pass by some local shops and eateries. Once you reach the junction with UT-9, take a right and continue on UT-9 for about 3 miles. Look for signs for Orderville. Once you reach the small town of Orderville, keep an eye out for the Red Caves, which are located about 2 miles down the road. The caves will be on your right.

• Biking

  Start from Kanab city center and head north on US-89. The bike ride will be approximately 12 miles. Be sure to wear a helmet and stay safe on the road. After about 12 miles, take a right onto UT-9 and bike for an additional 3 miles. You will enter Orderville; continue on the same road for another 2 miles. Watch for the Red Caves on your right-hand side. This route offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.

• Public Transport

  To reach Red Caves using public transport, first find the nearest bus stop in Kanab. Take the local shuttle or bus services heading towards Orderville, which typically runs every hour. Once you arrive in Orderville, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Red Caves. From there, it will be about a 30-minute walk to the caves. Follow the main road and look for signs directing you to the Red Caves.
