Walking
From the center of Kanab, head north on US-89 toward Orderville. After about 6 miles (approximately a 1.5-hour walk), you will reach the junction with Red Hollow Road. Continue walking on US-89 until you see the entrance to Red Hollow Canyon Trailhead on your left. The trailhead is well-marked and is situated in a scenic area, so you will know you’ve arrived when you see the sign.
Bicycle
Start from the Kanab Visitor Center located at 745 E Highway 89. Rent a bicycle from a local shop nearby. Head north on US-89. After about 6 miles, you will arrive at Red Hollow Road. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes depending on your speed. Look for the Red Hollow Canyon Trailhead sign on your left. Please ensure to wear a helmet and follow all cycling rules while on the road.
Public Transport
Currently, there is limited public transportation in Kanab. However, you can check with local shuttle services or ask at your accommodation if they provide transport to Orderville. If a shuttle is available, it will take you directly to Orderville, which is about 6 miles from Kanab. From the drop-off point, you can walk about 10 minutes to reach the Red Hollow Canyon Trailhead.
