Start at the Moab Visitor Center located at 25 E Center St, Moab, UT 84532. From the Visitor Center, head east on Center St for 0.3 miles until you reach Main St (U.S. Route 191). Turn left onto Main St and walk north for about 0.2 miles. You'll reach the intersection with Potash Rd. Turn right onto Potash Rd. Continue walking on Potash Rd for approximately 4.5 miles. The Colorado Riverway will be on your left. Look for signs indicating public access points along the river.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike shops in Moab, such as Moab Cyclery or Chile Pepper Bike Shop. Start at your rental shop and ride east on Center St until you reach Main St (U.S. Route 191). Turn left onto Main St and head north for about 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Potash Rd. Biking along Potash Rd, continue for approximately 4.5 miles. The Colorado Riverway will be on your left side. There are designated bike lanes, making it a safe route for cyclists.
Public Transportation
Check the local bus service, which may have routes to Potash Rd. You can board the bus at designated stops in downtown Moab, such as near the Moab Visitor Center. Confirm the schedule and route with local transit authorities to ensure a stop at Potash Rd. Once you arrive at a stop near Potash Rd, follow the signs to the Colorado Riverway, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop.
