Getting There

Walking
From the center of Moab, start at the Moab Visitor Center located at 25 E Center St. Head east on Center St toward 100 E St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-191. Turn left onto US-191 and walk north for about 1 mile. You will see the entrance to Canyonlands National Park on your left. Enter the park, and follow the signs for the scenic drive toward Orange Cliffs Overlook, which will be approximately another 15 miles. The overlook is well-marked, and there are designated parking areas.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Moab, such as Moab Cyclery or Chile Pepper Bike Shop. Start from downtown Moab and head north on US-191. You will follow the same route as the walking directions. The bike ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the entrance of Canyonlands National Park. Once inside the park, follow the scenic drive signs to Orange Cliffs Overlook, which is about 15 miles from the entrance. Enjoy the ride and be cautious of any traffic.
