Getting There

Walking from downtown Moab
Start at the Moab Information Center, located at 25 E Center St, Moab, UT 84532. From there, head east on Center Street towards Main St. Turn left (north) onto Main St and walk approximately 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-191. Continue north on US-191 for about 2 miles, where you'll see the entrance to Arches National Park on your right. Enter the park (note that there is an entrance fee) and proceed to the visitor center. From the visitor center, take the Arches National Park Road and continue for about 7 miles until you reach the Sand Dune Arch parking area. The trailhead to Sand Dune Arch is located at the end of the parking area. The hike to the arch is about 0.3 miles and is relatively easy, taking you through a sandy wash with towering rock formations.

Biking from downtown Moab
Rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Moab. Start at your rental shop and head east on Center St towards Main St. Turn left (north) onto Main St and continue for approximately 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-191. Take US-191 north, biking for about 2 miles to reach the entrance of Arches National Park. Enter the park (entrance fee required) and bike along Arches National Park Road for about 7 miles until you get to the Sand Dune Arch parking area. Lock your bike at the parking lot and follow the trail to Sand Dune Arch, which is about 0.3 miles from the parking area.
