Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Mt. Carmel. Head north on the Main Street towards Highway 9. Once you reach Highway 9, turn left and walk along the shoulder heading east. Continue for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the junction of Highway 14. Turn right onto Highway 14 and walk for about 1 mile. You will see signs for Duck Creek Village. Keep an eye out for the trailhead sign for Duck Creek Ice Cave.

  • Biking

    Begin at the Mt. Carmel Visitor Center. Head north on the bike path that runs parallel to Main Street. Follow the path until you reach Highway 9, then carefully cross to the other side and continue east. After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto Highway 14. Bike along Highway 14 for approximately 1 mile until you see the sign for Duck Creek Village. The entrance to Duck Creek Ice Cave will be nearby.

    From the Mt. Carmel town center, take the trail that leads north towards the foothills. Follow the marked hiking paths leading to Highway 9. Once you reach the highway, cross it and continue eastward for about 0.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with Highway 14, follow the signs for Duck Creek Village.
