Car
From the Zion Canyon Visitor Center, head south on Zion Park Blvd (UT-9) for approximately 3.8 miles. You will pass through the charming town of Springdale. Continue straight, following the signs for the East Mesa Trailhead. Turn left onto E Mesa Trail and drive about 2 miles until you reach the East Mesa Trailhead parking area. There is no entrance fee for this trailhead, but a park entrance fee may be required if you have not already entered Zion National Park.

Take the Zion Shuttle from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center. The shuttle operates seasonally, so check the current schedule for availability. Get off at the last stop on the shuttle route, which is the East Entrance. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles along the East Mesa Trail to reach the trailhead. Please note that the shuttle is free with your park entrance fee or pass.
