Getting There

• Walking

  Start your journey from the center of Mt. Carmel. Head south on Main Street towards State Route 89. Walk approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with State Route 89. Turn left onto State Route 89 and continue walking for about 4 miles. You will pass through scenic landscapes and small clusters of trees. After 4 miles, look for a trailhead on your right that leads into the hills. Follow the trail which will guide you towards the area of Patriot Point. The hike will take approximately 1 hour depending on your pace.

• Biking

  From the center of Mt. Carmel, rent a bike from a local shop if available. Begin by biking south on Main Street for about 0.5 miles to reach State Route 89. Take a left onto State Route 89 and continue biking for 4 miles. Enjoy the ride as you pass through beautiful scenery. Look for a marked trailhead on your right after 4 miles. Park your bike in the designated area and continue on foot along the trail to Patriot Point. The biking portion will take approximately 20-30 minutes.

• Hiking

  If you prefer a more direct approach and are starting from the outskirts of Mt. Carmel, you can initiate your hike right from your accommodation. Head south towards State Route 89. Once you reach the highway, take a left and follow the road for 4 miles. Look for the trailhead on your right, which leads towards Patriot Point. The hike will involve some elevation gain, so be prepared for a moderate workout. The total hiking time from Mt. Carmel to Patriot Point is about 1.5 hours.
