Getting There

    From the center of Mt. Carmel, head southwest on State Route 9 (also known as Zion Park Blvd) towards Springdale. Continue walking for about 7 miles on the paved shoulder of the road until you reach Springdale. Once in Springdale, look for Riverside Walk Trailhead signs. The trailhead is located at the end of the road, near the entrance of Zion National Park.

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Mt. Carmel to Springdale. Begin your journey on State Route 9 heading southwest. The bike ride is roughly 7 miles and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Once you arrive in Springdale, follow the signs for Riverside Walk Trailhead, which is at the entrance of Zion National Park.
