Walking
From the center of Mt Carmel, head south on Main Street towards the intersection with State Route 9. At the intersection, turn left onto State Route 9. Continue walking on the sidewalk along State Route 9 for about 1 mile until you reach the entrance to the Zion National Park. Once you arrive at the park entrance, look for the signs directing you to the Yovimpa Point viewpoint. Follow the well-marked trails within the park that lead you to Yovimpa Point, which is approximately a 1-mile hike from the visitor center.

Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the center of Mt Carmel and ride south on Main Street. When you reach the intersection with State Route 9, turn left onto State Route 9. Cycle along State Route 9 for approximately 1 mile until you reach the entrance to Zion National Park. Once at the park entrance, follow the signs for Yovimpa Point. The biking trail will lead you through beautiful scenery and the ride to the viewpoint is about a mile from the visitor center.

For those wanting a more adventurous route, start your hike from the center of Mt Carmel and head south on Main Street. After reaching State Route 9, turn left and continue walking for about 1 mile to the Zion National Park entrance. From the entrance, you can take the designated hiking trails that lead to Yovimpa Point. Be prepared for a moderate hike of about 1 mile within the park to reach the viewpoint, and enjoy the stunning scenery along the way.
