Walking
From the center of Mt Carmel, head south on UT-9 E/State St towards the intersection with Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy. Turn right onto Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy and walk for approximately 3 miles. You will arrive at Zion National Park, located at 932 Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy. Look for the park entrance and signs directing you to visitor facilities.
Biking
If you have a bike, start from the Mt Carmel Junction area. Head south on UT-9 E for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy, turn right. Continue biking on Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy for about 3 miles. You will see signs for Zion National Park. The park entrance is at 932 Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy, where you can find bike parking near the visitor center.
Public Transport
Although public transport options are limited, check for any local shuttle services that may operate in the area. If available, board a shuttle heading towards Zion National Park. The closest drop-off point is typically near the park entrance at 932 Zion – Mount Carmel Hwy. If no shuttle is available, consider walking the distance as described above.
