After entering the park, follow the main road for approximately 7 miles until you see signs for the Checkerboard Mesa View Area on your left.

From the center of Mt. Carmel, you can rent a bike from a local shop. Start your ride heading east on UT-9. After around 1.5 miles, you will reach the entrance to Zion National Park.
