Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you are in downtown Park City, walk to the nearest bus stop on Park Avenue. Take the Park City Transit bus that heads toward Provo Canyon. Disembark at the stop near the Timpanogos Trailhead. From the bus stop, walk towards the trailhead entrance located on the east side of the road. Follow the signs to the Mount Timpanogos Trail.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Park City. Start your journey by heading south on Park Avenue until you reach Deer Valley Drive. Turn left onto Deer Valley Drive and continue until you reach the intersection with Highway 189. Turn right and follow the bike lane along the highway heading towards Mount Timpanogos. After about 6 miles, look for the trailhead entrance on your right. Park your bike at the designated area and start your hike.

    If you are near the Park City Library, start walking south on Park Avenue. Continue walking for approximately 4 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 189.
