Public Transit
Start at the Salt Lake City Central Station. From the station, take the UTA TRAX light rail Blue Line towards the University of Utah. Ride for about 5 stops until you reach the Fashion Place West station. Exit the train and transfer to the UTA bus route 215. Board the bus heading south on 2700 West. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop near 3300 South and 900 West. From there, walk south on 900 West for about 5 minutes until you reach the Jordan River Parkway Trail. Follow the trail heading east until you come across the Carlisle Family Monument located along the parkway.

If you are closer to downtown Salt Lake City, start at the Salt Lake City Public Library on 210 East 400 South. Walk south on 200 East until you reach 500 South, then turn left and walk east until you reach 900 East. Turn right and walk south on 900 East until you reach 3300 South. At this intersection, turn left to head east and walk until you reach the Jordan River Parkway Trail. Continue on the trail until you see the Carlisle Family Monument.
