To get to First Encampment Park using the bus, start by finding the nearest bus stop. If you are near downtown Salt Lake City, you can catch the UTA Bus Route 9, which travels south. Board the bus and stay on it for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop called '1600 S & 700 E.' From the bus stop, walk east for about 0.5 miles along 1600 South Street until you reach the intersection with 900 East. Turn left (north) on 900 East, and you will see First Encampment Park on your right after a short walk.

If you're already in the Liberty Wells neighborhood, First Encampment Park is easily accessible on foot. Locate 900 East Street, and head south. Walk along this road until you reach the intersection with 1600 South. The park is located just off this intersection on the east side of 900 East. It's a short and pleasant walk, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way.

If you prefer to bike, Salt Lake City offers bike lanes you can utilize. Start at the downtown area and head southeast on 200 East, which will lead you to 1700 South. Turn east on 1700 South and continue cycling until you reach 900 East. Turn right on 900 East, and First Encampment Park will be just a block ahead on your right. There are bike racks available at the park for securing your bicycle.
