From Snowbird Resort, start by heading east on Little Cottonwood Road. Continue straight for approximately 4.5 miles. When you reach the intersection with 6200 South, turn left onto 6200 South. Follow this road until it turns into Timberline Drive. After about 1 mile, you will see the Ferguson Canyon Trailhead parking area on your left. There is no parking fee.

To reach Ferguson Canyon Trailhead via public transportation, start at the Snowbird Tram Station. Take the UTA Route 962 (the Ski Bus) towards Sandy. Ride for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Timberline Drive' stop. From there, it is a 0.5-mile walk up Timberline Drive to the trailhead.
