From Solitude Mountain Resort, head east on Solitude Mountain Road. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Big Cottonwood Canyon Road (UT-190). Turn right onto UT-190 and follow it for approximately 5 miles. As you approach Park City, look for signs for Empire Pass. Turn left onto Empire Pass Road and continue for about 2 miles until you reach the Empire Pass View Area parking lot. Note that parking may require a fee, so be prepared to pay for parking if necessary.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the bus from Solitude Mountain Resort to the Park City Transit Center. You can catch the bus at the Solitude bus stop. Upon reaching the Empire Pass stop, you will need to walk about 0.5 miles to reach the Empire Pass View Area. This option may also incur a small fare for the bus ride.
