Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the St. George Town Square, located at 50 S Main St, St. George, UT 84770. From here, head east on 100 S toward S Main St. Turn right onto S Main St and continue for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with E St George Blvd. Cross over to the other side of the street, and continue walking east on E St George Blvd. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will reach the bus station at 300 E St George Blvd. Board the Route 1 bus towards Hurricane. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop closest to the intersection of E Highway 9 and S 1000 E in La Verkin. Disembark at this stop, and from here, you will need to walk. Head east on E Highway 9 for about 3 miles until you reach the Grafton Ghost Town sign on your right. Follow the sign to the parking area and the ghost town.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in St. George. Begin your ride at the St. George Town Square, moving east on E St George Blvd toward the bike path that runs parallel to the Virgin River. Follow the bike path upstream until you reach the intersection with E Highway 9. Turn right onto E Highway 9 and continue biking for about 4 miles until you see the Grafton Ghost Town sign on your left. Follow the sign to the parking area and the ghost town.

Public Transportation
Take a local shuttle service from St. George to Springdale. You can catch the shuttle at the St. George Shuttle stop at 300 E St George Blvd. The ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Springdale, ask the shuttle driver to drop you off at the entrance to Zion National Park. From there, it’s a short walk to the Grafton Ghost Town. Follow the signs towards Grafton, which is approximately 2 miles away. You may want to check the local shuttle schedules for the best times.
