Car
From Sundance, head south on State Route 92 (SR-92) for about 4 miles. You will pass through scenic mountain views. After 4 miles, turn left onto US-189 S towards Provo. Continue for about 10 miles until you reach the town of Provo. Once in Provo, follow the signs for Mount Timpanogos Trail. Look for the entrance to the Timpanogos Cave National Monument, which is located at 1000 N 100 E, Provo, UT 84604. Parking is available at the trailhead, and there is a parking fee of approximately $10 per vehicle. After parking, the trailhead for Timpanogos Falls is well-marked, and you can begin your hike from there.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, start by taking the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus service. From Sundance, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare to reach the nearest bus stop on SR-92, as there are no direct bus routes from Sundance. Once you've reached the bus stop, take the UTA Route 855 towards Provo. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Provo Central Station. From there, transfer to Route 830, which will take you closer to the Mount Timpanogos Trail. You will need to walk about 1 mile from the bus stop to reach the trailhead. Be sure to check the UTA website for current schedules and fares, which typically range from $2.50 to $5.00 for a one-way ticket.
