Getting There

• Car

  From any point in Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, head towards Springville, UT. Use Utah State Route 51 (Main St) to navigate south towards US-6 E. Once on US-6 E, take the exit toward US-89 S. Continue on US-89 S for about 15 miles until you see signs for the Uinta National Forest. Follow the signs which will lead you to the Uinta National Forest entrance. Note that there may be a fee for parking in certain areas within the forest.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, first take a bus to Provo, UT. From Provo, you can catch the Utah Valley Express (UVX) bus to Springville. Once in Springville, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Uinta National Forest entrance, as public transportation options may be limited directly to the forest. Be aware that taxi services may incur additional costs.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, consider cycling to Uinta National Forest. If you are in the nearby Provo or Springville area, you can take the Provo River Parkway bike trail southwards towards Springville. From there, navigate to US-89 S. However, ensure you have a map with you as the bike routes may not be direct. Remember to wear a helmet and bring plenty of water, as well as check local bike rental services if you do not have your own bike.
