Getting There

• Bicycle

  Start your journey in Vernal at the intersection of Main Street and 100 South. Head east on 100 South until you reach the intersection with 500 East. Turn left and continue north on 500 East. Follow this road as it curves and becomes 1500 South. Continue straight as the road turns into a dirt path leading towards Fantasy Canyon. The canyon is located approximately 10 miles from downtown Vernal. Look for signs along the way to help guide you.

• Public Transit

  From the center of Vernal, head to the nearest bus stop. Take the Uintah Transit bus that heads towards the county line. Inform the driver of your destination as you may need to transfer buses or request a stop at the intersection of Highway 191 and the road to Fantasy Canyon. From there, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles south on the dirt road leading towards Fantasy Canyon. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance for the most accurate transit times.

• Walking

  Begin your walk at the Vernal City Park, located at 200 South 100 East. Head east on 200 South until you reach the intersection with 400 East. Turn left and walk north until you reach 1500 South. This road will take you towards Fantasy Canyon. Be prepared for a long walk, as it is about 10 miles from the park to the canyon. Make sure to bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes.
