If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the address 11925 N Horizon Dr, Highland, UT 84003. From any location in the Wasatch Range, use local roads to access I-15. If you're coming from Salt Lake City, take I-15 South and exit at 284 for Highland/Alpine. Follow the signs to Highland and continue on State Route 92. Once you reach the point where SR-92 intersects with N Horizon Dr, turn right and continue until you arrive at Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Note that parking may incur fees depending on the area you choose to stop, so be sure to check for any posted signs.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) TRAX light rail system to the Draper Town Center Station. From there, transfer to the UTA 801 bus heading towards the Alpine/Highland area. Disembark at the nearest stop to the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, which may require some walking. Make sure to check the UTA schedules in advance as service may be limited on weekends and holidays. A one-way fare on UTA is approximately $2.50.
