From Salt Lake City, take I-80 E toward Cheyenne. After approximately 30 miles, take exit 146 for US-40 E toward Heber City. Continue on US-40 E for about 20 miles. Merge onto US-189 N and follow the signs toward Park City. Once in Park City, take the exit for UT-248 E (Kearns Blvd) and continue on this road for about 5 miles. Turn left onto UT-224 N, then take a right onto S 1000 E. Follow this road until you reach the Mormon Flat Historical Marker, which is located at approximately latitude 40.8150656 and longitude -111.5854557. There is no parking fee at the marker.
Public Transportation
From Salt Lake City, take the TRAX light rail to the Central Station. Transfer to the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) bus route 972, which travels to Park City. Once in Park City, you may need to transfer to the local Park City Transit routes that service the area near the Mormon Flat Historical Marker.
