If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Salt Lake City. Head south on State Street (US-89) for about 3 miles. Turn right onto 2100 South, then continue for 1 mile until you reach 1300 East. Turn left on 1300 East and continue for about half a mile. You will see Sugar House Monument on your right at the intersection of 1300 East and 2100 South, next to the Sugar House Park. Parking is available on the street or in nearby parking lots.
Public Transportation
To reach Sugar House Monument using public transportation, take the TRAX light rail system. Board the Green Line at any TRAX station in Salt Lake City heading towards the Sugar House area. Exit at the 'Sugar House' station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head east on 2100 South, then turn left on 1300 East. The monument will be on your right. The cost for a single ride ticket on TRAX is approximately $2.50.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from any of the local bike share stations in Salt Lake City. From downtown, head south on 200 East and follow the bike lanes until you reach 2100 South. Turn right on 2100 South, then left on 1300 East. The monument will be on your right. The city has many bike lanes and paths that make cycling safe and enjoyable. Rental costs may vary but expect around $10 for a couple of hours.
Walking
If you're nearby, walking to Sugar House Monument is a pleasant option. From Sugar House Park, head east toward 1300 East. Follow 1300 East north for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 2100 South. The monument will be on your left. This route is about a 15-20 minute walk and is very scenic.
