Car
From Zion National Park, head west on Zion Park Blvd toward UT-9 E. Continue on UT-9 E for approximately 12 miles until you reach the junction with I-15 N. Merge onto I-15 N and drive for about 30 miles. Take exit 36 for UT-9 toward Hurricane and stay on UT-9 E for about 10 miles until you reach the Kolob Canyons section of Zion National Park. From the entrance, follow the Kolob Canyons Road for about 5 miles. The parking area will be on your right, and you can access the trails leading to Kolob Arch from there.
Public Transportation
While public transportation options directly to Kolob Arch are limited, you can take the Zion Shuttle from the Visitor Center to the Temple of Sinawava. From there, you will need to hike back to the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Once at the drive, check for local shuttle services or consider booking a guided tour that includes Kolob Arch. Be sure to confirm the schedule and availability in advance, as costs may vary.
Hiking
Once parked at the Kolob Canyons Road parking lot, take the La Verkin Creek Trail. The hike to Kolob Arch is approximately 14 miles round trip and can take 5 to 7 hours. Ensure you have plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear as the trail can be strenuous. The trailhead begins near the parking area, and it is well-marked. Follow the signs toward Kolob Arch, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
