Getting There

Car
From the Zion National Park Visitor Center, head east on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Follow the road until you reach the junction with Highway 9. Turn left onto Highway 9 and continue until you reach the intersection with US-89. Take a right onto US-89 South. Continue driving for approximately 30 miles until you see the signs for Sand Caves, which will be on the right side of the road. There is a small parking area available for visitors.

If you are using public transportation, take the park shuttle from the Zion National Park Visitor Center to the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Once you arrive at the last stop, you will need to catch a shuttle or arrange for a taxi service to take you to US-89. There is no direct public transportation to Sand Caves, so you may want to consider renting a bike or using a rideshare service to reach the caves after arriving on US-89.
