Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, head towards the city center of Bukhara. Once you are in the city, follow the signs to the airport, which is located on Ulitsa Bakhauddina Nakshbandi. The airport is approximately 10 kilometers from the city center, and the drive should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Be aware that parking fees may apply, so check for signage at the airport for details.

• Taxi

  For those who prefer a more direct route, taking a taxi is a convenient option. You can hail a taxi in the city or use a ride-hailing app if available. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey; it should cost around 20,000 to 30,000 UZS from the city center to the airport. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

• Public Bus

  Public transportation is also available. Look for local buses that head towards Bukhara International Airport. The bus terminal is located near the city center, and you can ask locals or check for signs that indicate routes to the airport. The fare is very affordable at around 2,000 UZS. The bus ride may take about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic, and buses may not run as frequently, so plan accordingly.

• Shared Minibus (Marshrutka)

  Another option is to use a shared minibus, known as a marshrutka, which often operates in Bukhara. These can be found at designated stops and will take you to the airport for a small fee, typically around 5,000 UZS. It might take longer than a taxi or bus, around 30-50 minutes, as they will make several stops along the way. Be sure to ask the driver if they go to the airport before boarding.
