Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Bukhara, you can start at the Lyabi-Hauz complex, a popular gathering place. Head east on Bukhara Street (Bukhoro ko'chasi) for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with A. Navoi Street. Turn left onto A. Navoi Street and continue walking for another 700 meters. You will pass local shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the intersection with QCH7+JH4, turn right. Continue straight for about 100 meters, and you will see Zindan on your left.

    If you are near the Ark of Bukhara, exit the fortress and head southwest towards the main road (K. Makhmudov Street). Once you reach K. Makhmudov Street, turn left and walk along the street for about 1 kilometer. After passing several local shops and eateries, turn right onto QCH7+JH4. Zindan will be located on your left after about 200 meters.

    From the Bukhara train station, exit the station and walk straight onto A. Navoi Street. Head east for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Bukhara Street (Bukhoro ko'chasi). Turn left onto Bukhara Street and continue straight for another 600 meters. When you reach QCH7+JH4, turn right, and Zindan will be on your left after approximately 100 meters.
